BREAST CANCER SENSITIZATION AND ADVOCACY
Together with partners such as Africa Cancer Initiative and the Ghana Health Service, Radix Consult undertakes health and wellness education with a focus on breast cancer sensitization and screening. A number of sensitization and screening programmes have been undertaken.

Radix Consult Ltd is a Management Consultancy firm that focuses Strategic Management Solutions. Radix also operates a Wellness Centre that focuses on Breast Cancer awareness raising and screening particularly for rural women. For the past 2 years, Radix partners with Africa Cancer Initiative in undertaking the education and screening.
AFRICAN CANCER INITIATIVE
African Cancer Initiative (ACI) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) formed duly on 17th June 2016 with its principal activity as cancer health policy advocacy, cancer research and treatment support.
PARTNERSHIP IMPACT
Over the 2 years, Radix and ACI have conducted several free screening programmes about 2000 women for early detection of breast cancer and cervical cancer. Mammogram, pap smear and breast examination by nursing specialists have been provided to screen women.
The focus on the outreach has been on towns and villages (particularly cocoa growing communities) that have non-accessible health centres and well as community members with major financial constraints. Screening has taken the approach of using various social gathering platforms like Churches, companies, institutions and schools as a medium to sensitize people particularly women about cancer screening, treatment and provision of psychological support to diagnosed patients.
